• Designing and Planning of Microwave Transmission Networks (PTP/PTMP), to meet the business requirements in-line with Transmission Design Guidelines. • Fiber Optic transmission PTP and PTMP: GPON/OLT and ONU configuration and planning (Ubiquiti UFIBER OLT 8SFP 1Gbit PON ports and 2SFP 10Gbit UPLINK ports) FTTx. • VLAN configuration and management on Ubiquiti switches and OLT. • Capacity planning and utilization management on all trunks devices and lastmile. • Trunks optimization and traffic management for and optimal network in terms of throughput and low latency. • Support and supervise Site Build Programme Activities, LOS Survey, LTE Transmission Backhaul Planning, RAN LTE access network, design of TX network, Huawei DBS 3900 BBU and KLEOS ENB35 management. • Setting up, implementation and management of RAN LTE access network (Transmission, BBU). • Ensure proactive Optimization of Transmission Network at Access and Core Tx Network. • Ensure FSE properly install links with respect to the prepared technical site survey, LOS form and link budget. • Ensure link parameters are properly verified/checked before approval and integration. • Ensure all installations meet the necessary regulatory directory on Microwave frequency planning and spectrum licensing. • Ensure licensed radios operate and transmit the required licensed throughput/ modulation/ channel width/1Gbps Ethernet port setting standard. • Recommend efficient and effective transmission equipment. • Good Knowledge of MW radio like; Huawei RTN, Dragonwave HE, Aviat, Alfoplus II, Proxim Edge QB, Bridgewave, Mimosa, and 5GHz WIFI radio like; Cambium Force, Ubiquiti. • Good technical Knowledge of wireless mobile communication equipment from UE, e-UTRAN, RRU,BBU and core transmission network. • Give support to the OSP fiber team by carrying out trace using OTDR, power meter and visual light locator to denote the point of failure and so on. • Prepared progressive update report of the transmission trunks and records. • Support Site Build Programme Activities, LOS Survey, LTE Transmission Backhaul Planning and design of TX network. • Ensure proactive Optimization of Transmission Network at Access and Core Tx Network.
