Christopher Oladimeji Fakorede is a highly accomplished individual with a strong educational background. He holds a B.Sc (Hons) Second class (Upper division), an M.Sc, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Lagos State University. His research is primarily focused on medical and molecular microbiology, with a particular interest in antimicrobial resistance, virulence, and genomic sequencing using One Health approach. Fakorede is passionate about teaching and research, particularly in the field of OMICs studies.

Fakorede’s academic journey at Lagos State University has equipped him with a deep understanding of microbiology and its applications in the medical field. His expertise in antimicrobial resistance and virulence underscores his commitment to addressing critical issues in public health and infectious diseases. Furthermore,  his interest in genomic sequencing reflects his dedication to leveraging cutting-edge technologies for advancing microbiological research.
