 Solvent deasphalting process operations of the Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU) residual oil of Kaduna Refining and Petrochemicals Company (KRPC);  Working with pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, absorbers, and metering systems;  Determining the qualities and quantities of crude oil and refined products at various terminals, onboard vessels and shore facilities, in accordance with international standards (API, ASTM, IP & ISO) in various locations onshore and offshore;  Witnessing and ensuring compliance with operating procedures for chemical injection optimization, surveillance, routine fluid sampling and laboratory testing of crude oil injected into the Nembe Creek Trunk Line (NCTL), in line with Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) specifications and standards. Also ascertaining that existing measurement techniques agree with proper production accounting in compliance with Crude Handling Agreement (CHA);  Sampling crude oil at the point of chemical injection into the NCTL and running analysis of emulsions, BS & W, water cut, specific gravity, API gravity, temperature and vapour pressure;  Overseeing quality control test (chemical and physical tests) for additives and chemicals like oxygen scavengers, biocides, etc., to confirm their quality status before approval for use in formulation, conditioning and treatment in NCTL and Bonny Terminal;  Technical report writing.
