Job Description

Covenant University is looking to hire qualified candidates as accountant.
The Job position entails that the candidate would be involved in:

• Raising school income journal voucher for foreign students.
• Posting of all journal vouchers (Cheque & Cash).
• Preparation of financial statement for the university using SAGE ERP ACCPAC on monthly basis and preparation of monthly management report.
• Preparation of university budget and weekly budget appraisal.
• Preparation of NUC financial report.
• …. and any other duties

ATTRIBUTES

The candidate should possess the following attributes:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical and critical reasoning skills
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Minimum of BSC or it equivalents with relevant work experience
• MBA and qualifications will be added advantage
• ACA/ACCA will be an advantage
