• Responsible for ensuring the preparation of periodic financial statements and management accounts, including consolidated financial statements to meet statutory reporting needs • Ensuring the integrity of the general ledger (Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Fixed Assets Reporting, etc. • Present Nigeria LNG group consolidated accounts to Financial Advisory Committee (FAC) and provide responses to questions from shareholder representatives • Produce quarterly and annual financial statements of the company to meet the requirements of Companies and allied Matters Decree, both local and international accounting standards. • Coordinate the interim and final external audits of Nigeria LNG and the group (NLNG, Bonny Gas Transport Limited, and NLNG Ship Management Limited • Respond to external auditors’ queries and management letters and assist in implementing external audit recommendations

• Coordinate a robust financial analysis tool management information system to advise the General Manager production and leadership team on strategic areas including Shutdown, plant rejuvenation, contracting etc., and proffer viable strategies for cost efficiencies • Engage in the various contracting and procurement development gates including demand assessment, strategy selection, negotiations, sourcing, and post-award management. • Formulation of business strategies, processes, and procedures to identify new ways of improving service delivery • Provide guidance on financial matters such as tax, insurance, and treasury issues and manage to resolve issues. • Conduct value for money evaluation on completed plant projects that will ensure that such projects deliver on expected value contribution
