I am excited to apply for the post of Lecturer II in Accounting Department. My deep-rooted passion for impacting knowledge has motivated me to seek your renowned institution.

Educationally, I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in accountancy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra state, Nigeria. I also hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degrees in accounting besides having Masters of Business Administration (MBA), all from University of Benin. These degrees have enhanced my competence in order to adequately deliver in institution.

Professionally, I am a qualified (fellow) member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom (ACCA), qualified (associate) member Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and qualified (associate) member Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) whose courses are of immense benefits in lecturing/facilitating Accounting, Quantitative Techniques/Financial Mathematics,  Microfinance, Taxation, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Banking and Finance courses.

In terms of experience, I have over fifteen years of experience in financial services industry and facilitating accounting, financial and quantitative courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional accounting examinations levels. I am currently the Chairman of Praise Women & Youths Empowerment organization, a non-governmental organization (microfinance institution). I was a Branch Services Manager with First Bank Limited before I resigned in 2017.

My completed and ongoing degrees as well as my industry experience have also fine-tuned my research techniques. Through my education and experience, I have gained excellent insights into the world of finance and accounting and these have strengthened my analytical, quantitative and research skills. In me, you’ll find someone who is unusually dedicated, self-motivated, and who possesses the detail-orientation and technical skills to excel in a fast-paced environment. At this time when emphasis is on tertiary education that is industry focus, my industry experience couple with academic qualifications will be invaluable in the academia.

Through my experiences and academic background, I have acquired determination, independence, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly and apply that learning proactively. Equipped with leadership and interpersonal skills enhanced by education at an excellent business school, and bolstered by unique experiences, I am confident that I can contribute significantly to your institution.
