Saved the plant millions of naira by designing and building of several kinds of electrical control panels for both Agbara and Aba plants  Saved the plant from losing millions of naira by designing and modifying a failed existing production machine process when there was a sudden breakdown without a ready spare at bailer, bodymaker and pin oven.  Maintained plant machines such as cupper, bodymaker, washer, decorator, LSM, IBO and palletizer; ensuring smooth running of the factory.  Maintained plant lighting and power distribution in the entire plant. Implemented a new lighting project to cater for maintenance shortcomings in the existing ones.  Programmed HMI and SCADA using factory talk view ME and SE respectively (Allen Bradley): creation of objects, indicators, alarms, restoring run time application, resizing, screen security and user access level, application back up, program uploading and downloading, created a new HMI project from scratch.  Installed and commissioned new electrical machines and devices: LSM, Bodymaker, Octopus and cobra wrapping machines, recycling bailer, strapper  Studio 5000, Rs Logix 500 and 5000 Programming (Allen Bradley): created a new project from scratch, designed and programmed modified production operation processes, ladder language, Ethernet/Ethernet IP protocol, RS-232, Devicenet configuration and programming  Troubleshooting and speedy rectification of faults using diagnostic tools; with heavy savings on plant downtimes and cost  Handled new electrical projects in the plant: designed and built automatic water level control panel for Aba plant, designed, built and programmed generator exhaust control panel for both Aba and Agbara Plant, designed and built auto fans starter panel for new 2.75MVA Cummings generator, designed and implemented temporary plant lighting system pending repair of the roof flood lamps, designed and installed auto shutter door control system, and designed and programmed auto process water pump starting and switching for Agbara plant, participated in Necker machine modification for new 33cl slim can size, designed and constructed phase selection and auto changeover power supply panel for expatriate quarters, etc.  Suggested and implemented various continuous improvement and creative ideas for better existing operations processes in the plant.  Regular maintenance of utility machines such as vacuum pump, air compressor, Womack, process water pump system, etc.  Carried out routine and scheduled maintenance on plant motors, drives, instruments, machines and panels. AC motors, VFD’s, soft starters, pressure and level switches and transmitter, proximity and limit switches, temperature sensors (RTD and thermocouple), burner control and modulator, heat and flame detectors, solenoid valves, flow sensors and transmitters, load cells, oven burner controllers, electronic signal amplifiers, relay switches, servomotors and servo drives, resolvers, encoders, guard switches, guard relays, emergency safety relays, optocoupler, PLC, etc.  Performed size changeover for PRESSCO and Label Verifier vision inspection systems, created new recipes for different sizes on PRESSCO, resolved hardware and configuration faults  Resolved short circuits in the control system of Pin Oven, Bodymaker, Decorator, Washer and Cupper machines  Implemented continuous process improvement ideas after passing through green belt training  Managed electrical spares using stock control skills and liaising with the engineering store ensuring no zero minimum  Prepared daily and monthly comprehensive reports, participated in regular supervisory and managerial toolbox meetings during a temporary relief plan at Aba plant. Successfully managed the entire department and solved two major long-old recurring problems during a month’s stay  Led teams to address faults in a timely and accurate manner  Led and managed the entire department during vacation period of my superiors  Created new SOP’s for new job procedures, operations and maintenance  Participated in a brainstorming session for persistent and recurring faults in machines and processes using 5Y’s, RCA and Fishbone analysis  Training and supervising a team of electrical technicians in the department (both existing and new recruits)  Related work service terms, conditions, safe working culture and standards with vendors for any electrical contract jobs when assigned  Implemented health and safety policy in compliance with ISO 45001:2018, quality policy ISO 9001:2015, environmental policy ISO 14001:2015 and food safety policy in compliance with ISO 22000:2018
