Principal Instrumentation Engineer
Responsibilities: • Manage and supervise the operation of steam boilers, air compressors (LP &HP), power distribution equipment, generators, HVAC equipment to ensure quality service delivery. • Pressure Transmitter/Differential Pressure Transmitter- Cable termination according to polarity and use of HART for rearranging, Engineering Unit modification, Transmitter calibration and troubleshooting. • Execute all utilities equipment, time-based maintenance according to schedule, within approved costing to minimize down time. • Monitoring the Compressor, Feed Water Level and Softener Operations. • RTD /Thermocouple-installation, calibration, troubleshooting, cable termination repairing, thermowell cleaning. • Float Level Switches, Pressure switches, Flow switches, Temperature switches (for Air Comp) - Installation, cable laying up to starter, Calibration. Set Point Adjustment, Functional Cross checking as required. • Calibration of Control Valve with Electro pneumatic positioner. • Over all responsible All existing power plant and cement plant field Instrumentation Installation; maintenance, Modifications, & calibration. Control Panel- Rewiring Modifications, Instruments Calibration. • Loop checking and communication with PLC/DCS. • Perform trouble shooting of controls systems and instrumentation issues, commissioning and startup support in relation to DCS, PLS based systems, Relay based controls systems etc. • Supervise Junior Engineers and Shift Technician in day-to-day routine instruments and control systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification works. • Prepare project weekly summaries, status, and monthly reports or as requested.
Technical Sales Engineer-Deputy Manager
Responsibilities: • Sales, Installation, testing, repairs and maintenance of Backup power systems such as UPS, inverters, rectifiers etc • Manage relationships with the clients of the company and ensure high customer satisfaction level. • Prepare and deliver appropriate technical presentations explaining products and services to existing and perspective customers. • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine systems requirements. • Secure, renew orders and arrange deliveries. • Sources for quotations from suppliers and equipment manufacturers and issue quotation to clients.
Mudlogger/Instrument Technician
Responsibilities: • Monitoring ,analyzing indicators and mud logging data like ROP, torque, drilling fluid displacement, SPP, flow out ,gas level, cutting size / shape and shale density in the mud returns during drilling process, cementation and completions in order to identify abnormal tendencies and render timely advice to personnel on the well control procedure to adopt. • Following up the drilling and completion of wells through the daily drilling and completion reports, making recommendations when problems arise to get them solved. • Providing geological report from Exploration/Petroleum Engineering Units as a guideline (specifying the total depth of well, expected type of formation at different depths, areas of expected mud losses and overpressure zones, mud weight required at different depths, mud circulation rate, types of casings to be used etc.) • Providing, the Operations Computer with necessary data, including abnormal pressure detection parameters, to obtain the required printouts/well profiles. Studies critically these with a view to detecting anomalies, e.g., overpressure zone, and advising on how to remedy such. • Performing regular maintenance, calibration checks and troubleshooting on sensors, gas Chromatograph, and other field equipment. • Sampling and analysis of formation cuttings circulated to the surface by drilling mud for hydrocarbon shows detection as per oil Industry standard and Client’s specifications. • Ensuring the creation of accurate and comprehensive Master Log (Lithology, Pressure, Gas, and Drilling parameter Logs) according to the company’s format and Client’s specification for complete Final Well Report.
