Olalekan Lawal is a natural learner, who desires to reach the zenith of his chosen career through self-development, research, and interactions with professionals in the field of education, research, and human power development. He had a background in engineering and a master’s degree in Science Education. Olalekan is enthusiastic about the teaching and learning process, human capital development as well as research.
He demonstrates high intellectual capacity, analytical ability, organizational skills, time management, administrative skill, and communication and interpersonal skills, among others.
Olalekan had over the years served as an Educator in various secondary schools. He is experienced in providing activities and materials that engage and develop students intellectually. Also, he had successfully prepared students of primary and post-primary schools for both internal and external examinations; and the students passed excellently well.
He had also served as Extension Officer (intermediary between the farmers in the field and subject experts). Olalekan was able to collaborate with farmers to significantly improve poultry bird management as well as proffered timely solutions to severe maize infestation.
He is registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) as a Certified Teacher. Olalekan is research active and his research interest include curriculum development, interactive learning, game-based learning, mathematics and science education, etc.
